Frequently Asked Questions

What is beetroot powder?

Beetroot powder is made from dried and milled beetroot (Beta vulgaris). It is naturally rich in dietary nitrates (396 mg per 100g) and betanin (354 mg per 100g), the pigment that gives beetroot its deep red colour, as verified by Intertek lab testing (batch REC/2026-27/BP/05/04). It is used in smoothies and juices, as a natural food colouring, and in everyday nutrition.

How do you use beetroot powder?

Stir 1 teaspoon (about 4 g) into smoothies, juices, yogurt, or water. It also works as a natural red-to-pink food colouring in baking, doughs, dips and desserts, and can partly replace flour in baking. The earthy, mildly sweet flavour blends well with berries and citrus.

Is Manubolu beetroot powder pure beetroot?

Yes. Manubolu Dehydrated Beetroot Powder is 100% beetroot with no added sugar, no added colour, no preservatives, and no fillers. It is naturally vegan and gluten-free.

Where is it sourced from and is it tested?

Manubolu beetroot powder is sourced from farms in India and quality-controlled in Germany. Every batch is lab-tested. Batch REC/2026-27/BP/05/04 was analysed by Intertek (report LAB/2026/00937): heavy metals within EU limits, aflatoxins and over 450 pesticides below the limit of quantification, non-GMO, and free from Salmonella, E. coli and Listeria.
